We're being brave

Well, almost...--Poker

We get a bath on Wednesdays and Sundays. Mom likes to give us a bath in the morning because we have all day to air dry. But we also like to go for walks or play all day so sometimes it's late when get a bath. Mom started using the hair dryer to get us dry quicke but we usually run away. Lately it's been really cold and we don't want to stay wet very long.

Euchre goes first while Poker watches from the bed side (ready to hide). Euchre lays on the bathroom rug while Mom dries his back. And he starts snoring. --Mom Then Mom flips him over and dries his belly. We're still getting used to this. --Mom

Poker is a little scared when it's his turn, but since he has shorter hair it doesn't take as long. He starts to relax then remembers, It's scary, then he freaks out.

After we're both clean and dry, we get a reward: We get to sleep in Mom's bed :)

Super Bowl party

Aunt Laura and Uncle Curt came over to watch the Super Bowl with us again this year. Laura came over early to go to the gym with Mom, then she'd stayed and we watched movies and made food.

There was lots of food - even for us! Carrots and air-popped popcorn. They threw popcorn at us and we caught it in our mouths. Well, Poker caught it. Euchre stayed on the couch and was hand-fed popcorn. Poker caught seven in a row before dropping one. Touchdown!

Mom got the couch all fixed up and we immediately made ourselves comfortable.


It was even better when Aunt Laura joined us.


Later Curt got on the couch too. Euchre had a staredown to see who had the best scowly face. It was a tie.


But then Euchre figured Curt was good enough to lay on too.
